How to Prepare a Simple Backyard Blast
This post is sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. but the content and opinions are my own.
It’s finally feeling like summertime! Between the warm weather, sunshine, and good vibes, what could be better than a Backyard Blast?!
But, as a busy mom who works full-time outside the home, planning any kind of party can get overwhelming. Well, I have some simple steps to follow to prepare a backyard blast that won’t have you stressed out!

Simple Cooking
Make it easy on yourself and enjoy easy entrees like Tyson® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts from Walmart. Mix up an easy marinade a few hours before the BBQ and grill!
Have other easy alternatives like some Ball Park® Hot Dogs, especially if there are little ones invited. You can never go wrong with some grilled hot dogs on Ball Park® Hot Dog Buns!
Grab some easy to prepare side dishes: baked beans, a garden salad, chips and dip.
Top it all off with a refreshing pitcher of Lipton® Iced Tea made with Lipton® Iced Tea Bags.

Add A Twist
If you are someone who just can’t do basic and simple, then here are a few twists to the average BBQ meals:
Season the Tyson® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts with a taco seasoning mix. After it’s grilled, shred the chicken and have a make-your-own taco and nacho station.
Next to your Ball Park® Hot Dogs, grill some peppers and onions in some foil (or right on the grill). Add those to your hot dogs and voila!
Try a new salad or mix your baked beans with some bacon. Another crazy outdoor delight… pour your baked beans over some nacho chips. Try it, you can thank me later!
Add a little wine or fruit to your Lipton® Iced Tea. This takes something delicious and moves it up a notch!

Paper Products
The one thing that always ends up being tiresome about entertaining is the mess to clean up afterwards. Using paper products instead saves you time (and a hefty water bill for multiple loads through the dish washer).
If you would rather not waste products, you can find some great alternatives at your local Walmart. Whether it is recycled options or reusable plastic, you can still make entertaining simple and enjoyable with a little help from Walmart.
Enjoy, Don’t Be Annoyed
Another reason entertaining can be a little more stressful, is the prep work that goes into hosting. Don’t get me wrong, I really love doing it, but I always end up feeling like I missed the party. Between cooking, cleaning, ensuring everyone has had enough, the end of the party comes and I realize I didn’t talk to half my guests.
But, what I noticed is frequently I had so many complicated recipes and moving parts, that I had to pay more attention to the food and preparation, than to my guests. Instead, enjoy your backyard blast by following some of these simple tips to keep it easy and stress free.
